Overview

Online card payments in BookerBat are powered by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment processors. You'll need a Stripe account to get started. If you don't have one, you can sign up for free at stripe.com.

Step 1 — Get your Stripe API keys

  1. 1.Log in to your Stripe dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com.
  2. 2.Go to Developers → API keys.
  3. 3.Copy your Publishable key (starts with pk_live_…).
  4. 4.Click Reveal to copy your Secret key (starts with sk_live_…).
Important: Never share your secret key with anyone. BookerBat stores it securely and it is never exposed to customers.

Step 2 — Add your keys to BookerBat

  1. 1.In your BookerBat dashboard, go to Settings → Payments.
  2. 2.Paste your Publishable key and Secret key into the fields provided.
  3. 3.Click Save changes.

Step 3 — Test a booking

Make a test booking through your booking page and pay with a card to confirm everything is working. Stripe provides test card numbers at stripe.com/docs/testing if you want to test without a real charge.

Stripe fees

BookerBat does not charge any additional transaction fees on top of your plan. Stripe charges their standard processing fee per transaction (typically around 1.5–2.9% + a small fixed fee depending on your country and card type). Check stripe.com/pricing for your region.

Tip: Keep your Stripe account in live mode for real customer payments. Test mode keys (starting with pk_test_ and sk_test_) will only work for test transactions.
