Overview

Promo coupons let you offer discounts to your customers — useful for first-time customer offers, seasonal promotions, loyalty rewards, or social media giveaways. Customers enter the code at the payment step when they book.

Creating a coupon

  1. 1.Go to Dashboard → Coupons and click Add coupon.
  2. 2.Enter a coupon code — this is what customers type in (e.g. WELCOME10). Codes are case-insensitive.
  3. 3.Choose the discount type:

- Percentage — e.g. 10% off the total - Fixed amount — e.g. $5 off the total

  1. 1.Enter the discount value.
  2. 2.Optionally set a usage limit — the maximum number of times this code can be used in total before it stops working.
  3. 3.Optionally set an expiry date — the code will stop working after this date.
  4. 4.Make sure Active is toggled on.
  5. 5.Click Save.

Sharing a coupon with customers

BookerBat does not send coupons automatically — you share the code yourself via Instagram, email, SMS, or however you communicate with your customers. They enter it in the booking flow when paying.

How customers use a coupon

During the payment step of the booking flow, customers will see a Promo code field. They type in the code and click Apply — the discount is calculated and shown immediately before they confirm.

Editing or deactivating a coupon

  1. 1.Go to Dashboard → Coupons and click the coupon you want to change.
  2. 2.Update the details or toggle Active to off to stop the code from working without deleting it.
  3. 3.Click Save.

Tracking coupon usage

The Coupons page shows how many times each code has been used. You can see this at a glance in the coupon list.

Tip: Keep coupon codes short and memorable — something like SPRING20 or VIP15 is easier for customers to type than a long random string.
