Overview

The appointment reminder email is sent automatically to the customer before their scheduled appointment. It's one of the most effective ways to reduce no-shows — customers are reminded of their booking and have time to reschedule if plans change.

When it's sent

BookerBat sends the reminder email automatically at a set interval before the appointment. The reminder goes to the email address the customer provided when booking.

What it contains

  • •Your business name and logo
  • •The customer's name
  • •Service name and duration
  • •Staff member assigned
  • •Appointment date and time
  • •Your business address and contact details

Which plan is required?

Appointment reminder emails are available on Starter and Pro plans. They are not available on the Free plan.

Do I need to do anything to enable it?

No — reminders are sent automatically for every booking where the customer has provided an email address. There is nothing to configure or switch on.

What if a booking is rescheduled?

If you edit a booking and change the date or time, the reminder is automatically recalculated for the new appointment time. The customer will receive the reminder based on their updated appointment.

Tip: If a customer tells you they didn't get a reminder, the most common reason is that they didn't provide an email address when booking. You can check this by opening the booking and looking at the customer details.
