Marking a booking as complete

Record that an appointment happened, confirm the final price, and add completion notes.

Last updated September 26, 2026

Overview

Marking a booking as complete lets you confirm the appointment took place, record the actual amount charged (in case it differed from the original price), and add any notes about the visit. Completed bookings feed into your Analytics so your revenue figures stay accurate.

Marking a booking complete

  1. 1.Open the booking from the Bookings page or Calendar.
  2. 2.Click Mark as complete.
  3. 3.In the completion dialog:

- Confirm or update the actual amount charged — if you charged differently from the booked price, enter the real figure here. - Optionally add completion notes (e.g. products used, follow-up required).

  1. 1.Click Complete booking.

The booking status changes to Completed and the actual amount is recorded separately from the original booked price.

Viewing completion data in Analytics

Your Analytics dashboard shows both booked value and actual earned value side by side, so you can see if there's a consistent variance between what customers book and what they end up paying.

Tip: Your staff members can also mark bookings as complete from their own staff dashboard — they don't need admin access to do this.
