Deleting your account

Overview

If you no longer need BookerBat, you can permanently delete your account. This removes all your business data — bookings, services, staff, settings, uploaded images, and your account login — from BookerBat's systems.

Before you delete

• •Cancel your subscription first — deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid Stripe subscription. Go to Dashboard → Subscription and cancel before proceeding.
• •Export your data — download a CSV of your bookings from the Bookings page if you want to keep a record. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

How to delete your account

1. 1.Go to Dashboard → Settings and scroll to the very bottom.
2. 2.Click Delete account.
3. 3.Read the confirmation warning carefully.
4. 4.Type the confirmation phrase as prompted to confirm you understand this is permanent.
5. 5.Click Delete my account.

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately. You will be logged out and will not be able to log back in.

What is deleted

• •Your business profile and all settings
• •All bookings and booking history
• •All services, categories, and staff profiles
• •All uploaded images (logo, banner, staff photos, website photos)
• •Your website page (if published)
• •Your admin login credentials

What is not deleted

• •Stripe payment records — these remain in your own Stripe account and are subject to Stripe's data retention policies.
• •Any emails already sent to customers — these cannot be recalled once delivered.

Tip: If you're considering deleting your account because of a specific problem, consider reaching out to support first. Many issues can be resolved quickly, and we'd rather help than lose you.
